The last 4 1/2 months!!

Wow, where to begin...Nathan is now 4 and a 1/2 months old and the time is going by very quickly. It seems like everyday he learns something new! He loves to talk just as much as Aunt Ashley:) We are still dealing with weight issues for him. We took him to see Dr. Sears and he recommended stopping the Prevacid and just keeping him on the Zantac for his reflux. As soon as we stopped it, he started screaming when he would lay down and was waking up all night long. We started it up again and he is doing much better. Hopefully he will catch up with his weight. Length wise he is doing really well. He is currently in 9mos clothing and keeps growing. We can't keep up with him anymore!
About two weeks ago we made the decision to start cloth diapering. I had been wanting to since the beginning, but I finally got Scott on board:) It has been going so well. I ordered a trial from www.modernclothdiapers.com which was a great idea. It really helped us see what works for us, without having the huge investment. You can see my cloth diaper reviews under the "Cloth Diapering" tab. If you have any questions, please ask! If I don't know the answer, I will find it for you.
The two (three) furbabies have (had) adjusted very well to life with Nathan! Shelby was a part of Nathan's life for the first 2 and 1/2 months. Sadly, in January, we had to put her to sleep:( She had been diagnosed with bone cancer and could no longer walk:(
Copper took the loss of Shelby very hard. He was very sad for a long time after she was gone. Now he just wants to give Nathan lots of kisses. He loves getting attention from him. Riley doesn't pay too much attention to Nathan. She wants his attention on her terms only. She will walk up to him and sniff him, but as soon as he tries to pet her, she walks away. Nathan loves to watch the dogs! He will just sit there and laugh at them:)
We finally got an answer for why Copper wouldn't lose weight. It turns out he has a thyroid condition. We've started his medication and he is already losing weight! He is more like the dog he used to be: playful! I think Riley isn't sure what to do with him now. She used to pick on him and he still wouldn't play with her. Now he is the one that wants to play. Its a great thing to see.
Well, that is all for now:)
